We are going to the Theatre in December to watch the pantomime! (Oh no you're not!) Oh yes we are! Plus a magical family school trip to Leeds Playhouse too! Nothing beats the magic of theatre and instilling it in your child at a young age is fantastic for boosting imagination and a love of the arts!
We will be arranging our annual pre-school trip to the theatre very shortly....watch this space for details! Last year saw our school leavers watching the fantastic Jack and the beanstalk at the Harrogate Theatre - full of music, songs, drama and adventure, it was the source of much excitement at Performatots and lots of dressing up and giant roleplay afterwards! We are looking forward to seeing Snow White this year at the Harrogate Theatre with some of our pupils. Details tbc.
This year we are also arranging a pre-school family theatre trip to the recently refurbished Leeds Playhouse to see 'The Night Before Christmas' on Friday December the 6th, which promises to get us in the Christmas mood and will be a lovely way to meet other families at Performatots too. Tickets are available at the reduced rate of £13 (Normally £18!) All pupils and families are invited - the show starts at 4.30pm and is 1 hour long. We will all meet at the playhouse for 4.15pm. If you would like to come, please let one of the teachers know by Friday 25th October.
